Due to the proximity to one another, Soldeu and El Tarter basically count as one resort. It one of the busiest and most popular ski resorts in the Pyrenees as it is providing not only excellent slopes that cater for all levels but also offers a range of facilities and services that make skiing pleasant and enjoyable.
In the entire Soldeu and El Tarter area you will find 118 slopes which are divided into 18 green runs, 31 blue runs, 36 red runs and 23 black runs with the green slopes being the easiest ones and the black slopes the ones that are only recommended for experts. The resort of Soldeu is connected not only with El Tarter but also with Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa which can be reached with a ski lift. Together they belong to the ski area of Granvalira which is offering a total of 170 slopes. Additional to the ski slopes you will also find a large snow park here in which a half pipe, a terrain park and other facilities can be found. The mogul stadium 'Stadibump' is also available.
Like in most ski resort in the area, the season starts in the beginning of December and lasts until April. 63 ski lifts are spread over the entire area and transport skiers and snowboarders from the centres to the tops of the mountains. Lift passes cost between ¬ 191 and ¬ 196 for adults and from ¬ 135 to ¬ 141 for children from 6 to 11 years.
